The Beta: Waitlist, Waves, What to Expect

Personarium is in a closed beta — that's not a marketing phrase, it's a real cohort size: there's currently only a limited number of spots, and the waitlist is the only way in.

How you land on the waitlist

Creating an account is enough — enter an email, done, there's no separate waitlist form. Every registered account lands on the waitlist automatically, with no extra step. From there, everyone waits for their invitation.

How invitations work

We select testers from the waitlist — not strictly by signup date, but by whatever makes sense for the current test phase. Selected testers get a personal invitation by email. The invite link unlocks a time-limited beta entitlement — built specifically so the beta doesn't depend on payment details: no subscription needed to test.

Two waves, one cohort

The beta starts desktop-only, for Windows and Linux. macOS is deliberately missing at launch — the required Apple signing is still outstanding, and macOS-interested waitlist accounts are told as much, until their platform joins later. A second wave adds Android as a sideload install once it's ready — as an addition to the same test group, not a new, second beta round.

What to expect as a tester

On Windows, the first launch shows a SmartScreen warning — expected, not a sign of a broken download, because Personarium still starts without paid OS signing. Personarium deliberately collects no telemetry; we measure friction instead through a short, voluntary survey after your first chat. Support and discussion run through dedicated Discord channels for setup help, feedback, and bug reports — strictly SFW there too, no exceptions.

One cohort, two waves — desktop first, then Android, no second beta cycle.
